Individual Counseling
Individual counseling can occur in any of the three domains (college/career, social/emotional, and/or academic). At times, the school counselor may call a student to her office regarding a topic in one of the domains. However, students are always welcome to schedule or meet with Mrs. Polen during appropriate times (access period, study hall, before school, or lunch).

- Short-term counseling (ex. a student who has undergone a loss)
- Academic advisement and planning (ex. planning future courses to take in high school)
- College access (ex. narrowing college options)
- Career planning (ex. discussing how strengths + abilities = career paths)
